To evaluate website security and protect you from cyber threats, MargDarshak AI processes the following minimal data:

• Website URLs: When you initiate a security scan, the target URL is evaluated locally and/or sent to our threat intelligence backend API.
• Page Structure Heuristics: Local DOM features (such as form action destinations, input types, and domain similarity) are evaluated locally on your device.

2. How We Use Your Information

The processed data is strictly used for one purpose: Real-time cyber security threat verification. Specifically to identify:

• Zero-day phishing websites and fake login pages.
• Domain typosquatting and brand impersonation.
• Known malicious URLs listed in threat intelligence feeds.

3. Data Protection & Privacy Guarantees

• No Personal Data Collection: We do NOT collect, store, or transmit your passwords, usernames, personal identity, or sensitive browsing history.
• No Data Selling or Advertising: We never sell, rent, or trade your data to third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
• No Tracking Across Sites: The extension does not track your general browsing activity across the web.

4. Third-Party Security Feeds

Our backend service queries reputable threat intelligence providers (such as VirusTotal and Google Web Risk) strictly to check if a domain is reported as malicious. No personal user identifiers are included in these requests.
